Monday, June 15th, 2009

BlackBerry_Pearl_ZP_app_ENWelcome to the Zoompass blog!  Today, EnStream announced the launch of a unique Canadian first with mobile payment service,Zoompass. Over the next week, we’ll be posting a bunch of introduction posts to help you get acquainted with the world of mobile money transfers and how Zoompass can make your life easier.

Our service offers a new, convenient way for you to send, receive, and request money – instantly and securely – all on your mobile phone. Zoompass eliminates the need for cash, cheques, wire transfers, and other inconvenient ways to pay.

Once you’ve set up your account, you can download the Zoompass mobile application onto your phone and easily synchronizeit with your contact list, that way, you can use Zoompass anytime, anywhere while on the go.

Your Zoompass money is held in a stored value account that can be linked to your personal bank account or credit card, which makes loading your Zoompass account and transferring money simple and convenient. You can also use the optional Zoompass Prepaid MasterCard® card with PayPass™ to make purchases in-store and online or to withdraw cash from an ATM, using the balance in your Zoompass account.

Zoompass is available to the more than 21 million mobile phone users on the Bell, Rogers, and TELUS networks, as well as to customers of their respective sub-brands and affiliates including Fido, PC Mobile, and Solo.
