Communications Intern

In exchange for a dynamic, eager intern we are offering an unbeatable experience.  During the internship, the successful candidate can expect to work on relevant projects, participate in meetings, write copy and create reports. All applicants should  be someone who want real experience, can take a project and hit the ground running, and is able to work groups, as well as alone.

The selected candidate will work with the Communications and Public Relations Manager and Marketing Manager and report to the VP of Strategic Partnerships. Together, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for launching EnStream products and working with all the other parts of the payments world (banks, card associations such as Visa/MasterCard, retailers, etc.)

Some of the duties will include:

  • Maintain a positive brand voice to build positive relationships through various social networking, micro-blogs, video and photo sharing sites.
  • Build and maintain accounts such as Twitter and flickr.
  • Work with the agencies on public relations initiatives, traditional and non- traditional outreach to key audiences, viral marketing campaigns, polls, contests and promotions.
  • Attend industry events.
  • Generate ideas and provide input on ways to reach key target audiences, reinforce key messages and improve enrollments, utilization and service experience.
  • Write copy for the website, press releases, and other internal and external communications ensuring that all content meets established content and communication standards

A modest honorarium will be offered.
